Our mission is to bless the lives of those in need, ​drawing inspiration from the beautiful example set by ​Ava Mickelson. After passing away from leukemia on ​October 30th, 2022, Ava's spirit of kindness, ​compassion, and generosity has continued to touch ​hearts, and through this foundation, we aim to carry ​her legacy forward.

Why Participate ​this Year?

We are thrilled to invite you to Ava’s Bigfoot Stomp, sponsored ​by the Live Like Ava Mickelson Foundation, a special event ​dedicated to making a positive impact in our community and ​beyond. This fun run is not just about getting active—it's about ​coming together to support a family in need and to serve in ways ​that honor Ava’s passions.

Support a Family in Need: Your participation helps us raise vital ​funds for a family facing challenging circumstances. By joining ​the fun run, you are directly contributing to providing them with ​much-needed support and hope.

Make a Difference Overseas: In addition to the run, we will be ​organizing a service project to assemble school kits for needy ​children overseas. These kits will provide essential supplies to ​help children succeed in their education, empowering them to ​build a brighter future and will be donated to Lifting Hands ​International.

How You Can Help

Meet Q

Q is a remarkable young boy who has faced incredible ​health challenges, including a diagnosis of thyroid cancer ​that has spread to his lungs. Despite undergoing multiple ​treatments and surgeries, Q continues to inspire everyone ​around him with his resilience, courage, and a giving heart. ​As the oldest of four siblings, Q’s bright spirit has brought ​countless miracles to his family.

Now, more than ever, Q and his family need our support as ​they navigate the emotional and financial strain of ongoing ​medical treatments. By donating or participating in Ava’s ​Bigfoot Stomp, you can help provide relief to this amazing ​family and show them they are not alone on this journey.
